Dear Matthew, this icon of St. John of Kronstadt is one of the most beautiful icons I’ve ever seen!

Thanks, Dorothy. This particular icon was a gift to my priest. Before my wife and I got married, I came to visit her in Boise and Fr. Mark and his wife let me stay at their house. Since they love St. John, it seemed like a perfect gift for them, and was a joy to paint.

This icon is now a family treasure. St. John has been instrumental in our home this past year and I pray his intercessions will continue on our behalf. We have been greatly blessed by you writing this icon for us. May God continue your holy work. Thank you Matthew.
